Thank you for your interest in the Saint Matthew Parish Ministry of Music.
It is our hope that all musicians will find participating in this ministry an enjoyable and challenging experience, and that it will foster a love of music, strengthen your faith, and enliven your commitment to serving the Catholic Community of Saint Matthew Parish.

Vocal Ensembles
There are two vocal ensembles:

Our Youth Choir (grades 3-12_ leads our 9:00am Mass
and rehearses on Thursday evenings, 6:30pm-7:30pm.
The Youth Choir is directed by Lisa Murray

Our Adult Choir leads our 10:30am Mass
and rehearses Thursday evenings, 7:30pm - 9pm.

New members in both ensembles are always welcome and encouraged to join.

ATTENTION INSTRUMENTALISTS!

Throughout the year there are many occasions for which instrumentalists such as string, woodwind or brass players are needed.

While some of this work requires the skills of professional musicians, many times advanced students or amateur players have the needed skills.
It is our desire to provide to parishioners who have such skills opportunities to use their talents in the music ministry whenever possible.
